It took a while to gather all of the parts but it finaly came togather today.

Lennie's BLING Steel Rock Lobster w/S&S Couplers

Check out the nipple padren, Lennie had me lace them in a "nibblet" code that repersents the number's of his birth date.

The Specs are all over the map

SRAM Shifting and Cassette
Dura-Ace Chain and Front Der
Phil Wood BB
Campy Record Crank
Mavic Brakes
Thompsen Seat Post and Stem
Ritchey Bars

His Wheel Set
Black Chris King 32 hole Classic Road Hubs
Gold USA Ti Spokes & Black/Gold Nipples
Black Mavic Open Pro Rims and Skewers

This isn't a touring bike either, it handels like a F-22 fighter jet. Lennie couldn't wait to get out of here and take it up Mt Hamilton this afternoon.

Damn those are some NICE wheels!

N-I-C-E Love those S&S couplers. Met a guy from SD this summer and he had an 18 lb steel frame bike with S&S couplers. Gotta get me one. Now I know who to call when I get the money saved...

In an earlier post, you were looking for an inexpensive way to put rider's names on their bikes. Check out http://www.vcgraphix.com/ - they have a really nice product.

Thanks! we havn't weighed it but we're betting it came in right around 18-19ish lbs. He's loving it.

I checked those guys out, they do really nice work, but we're a local team on a tight budget. $12 for 4 stickers covers one rider. We have 32 riders. Spokes, cables, housings and chains take the priority in my slice of the budget.

I'm just going to memorize the random sticker placements and waky componets the guys are using... Rob's 2X1 should be easy to spot ;)
